Crossed Roots is a project that means a lot to me. It was born from a shared dream between two Argentinians living in Australia — myself, a food and wine enthusiast always chasing the perfect pairing, and my friend Gaston Bravo, a talented winemaker with years of experience and a deep love for his craft.

This limited-edition Shiraz-Malbec blend brings together the boldness of Barossa Valley Shiraz with the depth and elegance of Malbec from Langhorne Creek — two grapes that represent our two homes: Australia and Argentina.

Aged in French and American oak, this wine is rich, juicy, and beautifully balanced. You’ll get dark berries, plum, a touch of spice, soft tannins, and a smooth finish with hints of cocoa. It’s the kind of wine that loves good food — think grilled meats, aged cheese, or even dark chocolate — but more than anything, it’s made to be shared.

I flew to Adelaide to visit Gastón, and together we hand-selected and blended the barrels to get it just right. This wine reflects our journey, our friendship, and the roots we carry with us — no matter how far we aref rom home.

Only 600 bottles made. It’s small-batch, special, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

Cheers Juan de la Cruz
